Retail Clerk
About The Position
The Retail Clerk is responsible for the following duties: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Fill vending machines daily. 2. Perform all cash exchange functions during assigned shift. 3. Process orders and payments in a timely manner. 4. Ensure compliance with all internal control polices and procedures. 5. Provide excellent guest service. 6. Ability to perform Retail Cashiers duties when necessary 7. Prepare and maintain inventory records. 8. Keep track of all inventory, purchases made, and any damages of product. 9. Ensure cleanliness and order in the Gift Shop. 10. Ensure all vending machines are in full working order, including bill and coin acceptors 11. Responsible for ensuring that the proper change is dispensed. 12. Perform all inventories of the Gift Shop and Vending supplies as needed. 13. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required by law. 14. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have excellent guest service skills.
- Must have excellent math skills.
- Previous work experience with working with the public.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite.
- Familiar with office equipment including computer, copier, fax, 10-key, etc.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

- Prior cash handling experience a plus.
