About The Position

The Nordstrom Rack team member plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. This position focuses on providing excellent service, maintaining an organized sales floor, and ensuring a smooth fitting room experience for customers. Team members are expected to engage with customers, share information about promotions, and keep the store well-stocked and visually appealing.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Keep the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping customers uncover great deals.
  • Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
  • Share knowledge of fashion and inform customers about upcoming events, gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program.
  • Maintain organization in stockrooms and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
  • Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays 'runway ready' through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
