About The Position
The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. A day in the life involves keeping the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they're looking for. This includes creating a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor. Team members are expected to share their love of fashion and inform customers about upcoming events, the Nordstrom gift cards, the Nordstrom Rewards™ program, and the mailing list. Additionally, maintaining organized stockrooms and completing all inventory processes is crucial, ensuring that merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed. Team collaboration is essential to ensure the sales floor stays "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
