About The Position

The Counter position is essential for ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient operations within our facility. This role involves managing customer interactions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The successful candidate will be responsible for problem-solving on the spot, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring that all products are well-stocked and organized. Additionally, the Counter will play a key role in team collaboration, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting sales initiatives. Ultimately, this position is vital for driving customer satisfaction and operational success in our Rumford location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Problem-solving abilities will be utilized to address customer concerns and enhance their experience.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information to customers and collaborating with team members.
• Mechanical aptitude may be beneficial when handling equipment or troubleshooting issues that arise.
• The ability to work unsupervised will empower the candidate to take initiative and manage tasks efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the team.
• Flexible availability - minimum of 4 shifts/week
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Experience in inventory management or sales management.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
