About The Position
Join the #1 Beer distributor in the United States! Reyes Holdings is hiring immediately for the position of Retail Beverage Merchandiser in San Jose, California. This full-time role requires early start times between 5am and 7am, with a schedule of five days a week, including weekends. The pay for this position is $23.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime. Employees will receive monthly car and mileage reimbursement, as well as benefits including medical, dental, vision, vacation days, and paid holidays. Additionally, the company offers a 401K plan with company matching. This position allows for independent work on a local route close to home and provides opportunities for advancement into Sales, Marketing, or Delivery departments. The Merchandising Team plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Delivery Departments by ensuring that products are up to date, brands are well represented, and the company’s presence stands out in top retailers nationwide. Merchandisers will travel to grocery stores to ensure that products are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly along their route. They will also help maintain relationships in the market by developing supplier brands and providing best-in-class service. Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, traveling to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of product are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along the route. Merchandisers will transport products between the backroom and display floor using manual equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, manage backroom organization, report backstock inventory levels, and maintain market relationships by providing excellent service. Other projects or duties may be assigned as needed.
