About The Position

Steven Singer Jewelers, a renowned jewelry retailer with a national market reach, is seeking an experienced Showroom Concierge to elevate guest experience in our high-end jewelry showroom. In this unique, front-of-house role, you'll combine skilled coffee preparation with attentive customer service-greeting visitors, crafting quality beverages, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere. You'll handle orders and service, keep the beverage bar stocked and clean, and engage with guests to understand their needs and direct them to the right sales associate. Ideally, you bring previous barista or hospitality experience, polished communication, and a passion for welcoming luxury-minded clientele. Your efforts will ensure that every visit feels personal, professional, and an exceptional environment.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; polished communication style
• Proficiency with coffee-brewing equipment
• Basic math and POS transaction handling capabilities
• Energetic and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up-to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contribute to a positive work culture and foster a supportive environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or upscale food & beverage settings
• Minimum of 1-year prior barista experience in a café or hospitality/service environment

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests courteously and take beverage orders, offering recommendations tailored to taste and preferences
• Prepare and serve hot and cold specialty beverages - espresso, cappuccino, teas - following quality and presentation standards
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers), ensuring cleanliness and proper function
• Handle POS transactions accurately- cash, credit, and mobile- following cash management procedures
• Restock beverages and supply inventories, monitor freshness, and assist with stock management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary beverage station and showroom area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Engage with customers professionally, respond to inquiries, and proactively address and service concerns
• Collaborate with showroom staff to support overall guest experience and showroom operations
