The Retail Banker II Float serves as a customer liaison at TD Bank, playing a crucial role in delivering the bank's brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice. This position is responsible for advising customers on personal banking solutions, contributing to business objectives, and optimizing customer relationships. The role requires flexibility to work in multiple locations and involves engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and support their financial goals.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for customers and colleagues regarding TD's products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight product features and benefits.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to proactively identify customer solutions and lead outbound sales activities.
  • Evaluate issues and problems based on existing practices and precedents.
  • Build working relationships with customers and related teams.
  • Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities.
  • Engage in conversations with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake.
  • Deliver legendary customer experiences by helping customers and building relationships.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience required.
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Requires agility, teamwork, and flexibility to adapt to different locations and environments.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Notary License (Preferred)
