About The Position

The Retail Banker I serves as a customer liaison, playing a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice to customers regarding their banking needs. This position is focused on achieving business objectives through identifying appropriate banking solutions that help customers meet their financial goals and enhance their relationship with TD.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience required.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with clarity and consistency.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and effective problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on bank products and services and refer them to appropriate team members or internal partners.
• Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight product features and benefits.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to assess customer needs and lead outbound sales activities.
• Evaluate issues and problems based on existing practices and procedures.
• Build working relationships with customers and related teams.
• Participate in customer outreach and advice activities to deliver on the brand promise.
• Engage in conversations with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake.
• Maintain active registration status with NMLS.
