About The Position
The Retail Banker I serves as a vital customer liaison at TD, playing a key role in delivering the bank's brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice. This position is integral to helping customers navigate their banking needs and achieve their financial goals. The Retail Banker I is responsible for identifying appropriate TD solutions that enhance customer relationships and contribute to the bank's business objectives. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the bank's products and services, enabling the banker to educate customers and refer them to the right internal partners when necessary. In this position, the Retail Banker I will engage with customers to provide personalized banking solutions, making product recommendations based on individual needs. The banker will utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to proactively assess customer situations and lead outbound sales activities. This role also involves evaluating issues and problems, explaining complex information, and building strong working relationships with customers and team members. The Retail Banker I will participate in customer outreach and advice activities, ensuring that every interaction reflects TD's commitment to delivering an unexpectedly human experience. The Retail Banker I must maintain an active registration status with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and is expected to engage in conversations about loan products, facilitating application intake as needed. This position requires a high level of customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. The banker will also be responsible for performing various teller transactions and ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures, all while promoting a positive work environment and contributing to the overall success of the team.
