About The Position

The Retail Banker I serves as a customer liaison, playing a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice to customers regarding their banking needs. This position is essential for achieving business objectives and fostering customer relationships that help clients meet their financial goals.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act.
  • Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS in accordance with the SAFE Act.
  • Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check are required.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the full suite of products, sales, services, and banking capabilities.
  • Understands and applies operating policies and procedures.

  • Escalates non-standard or high-risk transactions/activities as necessary.
  • Ensures documentation is accurate and reflects client/business intentions, consistent with relevant rules/regulations.
  • Conducts necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions/activities.
  • Complies with the Bank Code of Conduct.
  • Contributes to business objectives for Operational Excellence by understanding accountability in driving an operationally sound location.
  • Executes with excellence by adhering to all risk and control policies/procedures.
  • Participates fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
