About The Position

The position involves working in a gift shop where attendants are responsible for various duties including cash handling, maintaining cleanliness, unpacking freight, and providing excellent customer service. Attendants are expected to exemplify the company's core values and perform other job-related duties as assigned. The role requires merchandising the gift shop according to company standards and restocking merchandise as directed. Additionally, attendants will provide feedback to supervisors regarding inventory levels and customer perceptions, assist customers with information about property events and amenities, and encourage multiple sales by offering additional products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One to two years of previous experience in retail

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate money handling and proficiency on the cash register
• Maintain cleanliness of the gift shop
• Unpack incoming freight, counting and checking against the packing slip
• Demonstrate excellent salesmanship while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere
• Exemplify core values and company mission and vision
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Merchandise the gift shop in accordance with company standards
• Re-stock merchandise as directed
• Provide feedback to Supervisor on duty regarding inventory levels and customer feedback
• Assist customers with information about property events, promotions, and amenities
• Encourage multiple sales by offering additional products and services
