About The Position

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful renovated pool, a kids pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Seasonal Part Time Retail Attendant to our Mission Bay Family. As a Retail Attendant you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the world! Our Retail Attendants proudly showcase our hotel, amenities and surroundings. The Retail Attendant is a highly visible role in which you directly impact the guests stay and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Requirements

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a focus in guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a fast-hospitality environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet guest provide a welcoming shopping experience
  • Assist guest with selecting merchandise and answering product questions
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
  • Maintain Cleanliness and organization of retail store
  • Restock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are attractive and fully stocked
  • Promote featured items, seasonal products, and hotel-branded merchandise
  • Address guest concerns or questions in a professional and courteous manner.
