About The Position

The Retail Operation Attendant is responsible for providing cash operation services and completing various support tasks during the assigned shift. The hours for this position may vary and include nights and weekends. The role involves interacting professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers, performing quality work within deadlines, and working effectively as a team contributor. The attendant will also be responsible for cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils, ensuring compliance with company service standards, and maintaining confidentiality regarding all matters involving the University. Customer service is a key aspect of the role, as the attendant will serve customers efficiently and resolve any concerns. Additionally, the attendant will stock, prepare, cook, and serve food items, follow cash handling standards, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

Requirements

  • Ability to interact with a diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly manner.
  • Ability to use the time clock system and record worked hours accurately.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with American money and measurements.
  • Ability to answer basic questions regarding unit operations and direct others as needed.
  • Meet Dining Services unit specific uniform standards.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment as per guidelines.
  • Wear cut-resistant gloves when using sharp tools.
