Requirements

  • Passionate about candies and confections.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in operating cash registers.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate loads.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Clean and neat appearance.
  • Standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending, stooping, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist customers in selecting the perfect gift or decor for their home.
  • Maintain an organized and appealing display of products.
  • Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled.
  • Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, including regular cleaning and sanitization of the bins, shelves, and countertops.
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving and unpacking merchandise.
  • Collaborate with the team to create engaging displays and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, new products, and customer preferences.
