About The Position

As the Retail Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for providing a positive guest and member experience that exceeds expectations through effective and efficient retail operations.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
  • Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract multiply and divide.
  • Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with guests to assist in purchasing decisions.
  • Provides outstanding customer service and engage in suggestive selling.
  • Ensures the daily operation of the retail outlet adheres to operating procedure guidelines.
  • Answer general questions about the club and resort as well as daily functions and activities on the property.
  • Following the opening and closing checklist for the various outlets and completing tasks as outlined.
  • Perform standard cleaning tasks such as but not limited to, dusting and vacuuming the retail spaces from time to time.
  • Assists in merchandising functions including display and store design, stocking, merchandise tagging, and inventory counts.
  • Performs cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting.
  • Ensures retail outlet adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Strong personal and customer service skills to converse easily with associates, guests, and members.
  • Must have strong analytical and decision-making skills, as well as knowledge of basic math principles, and strong attention to detail and accuracy skills are critical.
  • Deliver "GGRC Hospitality Standards" and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
  • Greet every guest, member, and team member with "GGRC Hospitality Standards" and set a positive tone for every interaction.
  • Provide extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature."
