Responsibilities
- Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience proven by engaging and interacting with all customers
- Embodying customer experience principles and philosophy
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
- May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business
- Role modeling established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
- Supporting and embodying a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
- Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customer according to established operating procedures
- Promoting credit and loyalty programs
- Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards
- Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day
- Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor
- Participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
- Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment
- Other duties as assigned
