Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner. Provide product recommendations and information about merchandise. Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including restocking merchandise. Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the Retail Manager. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns in a courteous manner. Follow resort and shop policies for cash handling, security, and loss prevention. Work collaboratively with all resort staff to enhance the guest experience. Perform other duties as assigned by the Retail Manager. Qualifications & Skills: Previous retail, merchandising, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate a POS (point of sale) system, computer, and handle credit card transactions. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Schedule Requirements: This is a seasonal position for the duration of May through December. Applicants must have a flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays. Hourly Rate: $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
