About The Position
Retail Sales/Cashiers with Klawock Island is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining guest services as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, re-stocking, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards.
Requirements
- Ability to stand forlong periodsand climb stairs multiple times a day
- Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, andlift upto 40lbs
- Must be comfortable working in a noisy area with various odors present
- Work in an unheated building and travel to a remote location
- Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from the job site
- Must be able to walk or drive on gravel roads in inclement weather
- Be flexible to extended work hours during the season
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting andassistingcustomers
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming shopping experience
- Stay knowledgeable about products, promotions, and advertisements
- Assistwith merchandising, stocking, and store upkeep
- Accurately complete sales transactions and manage POS operations
- Adhere to company policies, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
- Communicate guest requests to management
- Support store housekeeping, maintenance, and organization
