About The Position
No prior experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greeting customers with a smile and assist with their shopping experience Sell retail merchandise in the retail stores Assist with and complete transactions for rentals such as lockers, inner tubes, and wheel chairs Prepare and sell ice cream, popcorn, and specialty candy at the Ice Cream Cart and Candy store Offer additional products to offer the best experience at park Merchandise and maintain sales displays Process transactions in a timely fashion Comply with food handling, sanitation, and storage regulations Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark Follow park policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age Ability to operate a computer, computer software, cash register, and credit card machine Approachable, outgoing, and excited about suggestive selling Ability to accept guidance and supervision Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Ability to work in both indoor and shaded outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 30 pounds Benefits: FREE Season Pass Free Tickets Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Career Development We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
