About The Position

The Retail Associate at Kiefer Aquatics will help drive sales and manage our retail shop. Kiefer is a leader in the swimming industry providing swim teams and retail customers with a boutique sales experience in the swim gear.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience helpful but not required
• Ability to work one weekend day
• Swimming background is helpful but not required
• Timely attendance and strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail and use of daily processes
• Open to learning new skills and processes
• High level of integrity with a strong sense of accountability
• Friendly, outgoing and social personality
• Ability to work independently and make decisions as needed
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Keep store clean, organized and well stocked for customers
• Open and closing of the retail store
• Maintain inventory and receiving new shipments from our warehouse
• Operate sales register and assist customers within store purchases
• When necessary, support outside sales efforts such as swim meets and team fittings
• Assist or run swimsuit sizing’s and swim meets as needed (weekends and evening). These will be local (within 20 miles from the store)
