This role supports the daily operation of retail outlets by leading from the sales floor, coaching team members, and assisting with administrative and operational responsibilities. Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work with other team members and develop new skills.
- Able to work in all-weather conditions.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, and reach overhead
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales and retail experience would be beneficial.
- Experience with cash transactions and credit cards helpful.
- Experience in stocking and displaying products.
- Great customer/guest experience background a plus.
- Knowledge of and previous experience using Point of Sales
Responsibilities
- Learn and develop knowledge of all products that we have in inventory.
- Learn and use the Point of Sales computerized system for all transactions, inventory, ordering, reconciliation.
- Stock and replenish of all products, inventory of all items.
- Check invoices against orders to verify that the correct items are received.
- Work in a professional manner and always make a professional presentation in both dress and actions
- Handles all sales transactions through the Point of Sales system and always works with guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Assist guests with purchases including recording transactions and packaging for guests.
- Attending staff and sales meetings to learn new sales techniques
- Clocks in and out using Point of Sales system to record actual hours worked.
- Other duties as assigned.
