About The Position

Lax.Com (Universal Lacrosse) powered by Varsity Brands is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and service customers. Whether helping a first-time player find their first stick or dialing in the perfect pocket for a seasoned attackman, our associates bring sharp knowledge, high brand standards, and smooth front-end execution to every shift. The result is a shopping experience that feels less like a transaction and more like gearing up for greatness. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify customer needs and answer questions about our products. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied.

Requirements

Lacrosse experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role (Preferred but not required).
Understanding of the retail sales process.
Basic math skills.
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
Flexibility to work various shifts.
High school degree or currently enrolled in High School.

Responsibilities

Greet and direct customers.
Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services).
Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services.
Ensure racks are fully stocked.
Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
