About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and bring our brand promise to life: to offer a fun, fashion-centered, and affordable shopping experience to our communities. Requirements

  • Prior experience in retail management (1 year+)
  • Have a good eye for fashion and current trends.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 31 hours per week.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Engage . You get to meet new people, every day! Lead by example–greet each customer with a smile and welcome them to our store. Create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment to shop and work in.
  • Prioritize + Delegate . There will be a lot coming your way – from running breaks to noticing lines- you’ll need to use your team to get everything done and run the store like a well-oiled machine!
  • Be Customer-focused . You will guide your team to help customers learn how we work and try selling! Each customer has different needs and it’s up to your team to help them out.
  • Be a Mentor and Coach. You’ll guide your team members in developing their skills using our training tools and growth plans. Your goal is to support your team!
  • Be Transparent . You will have clear and consistent communication with your manager. Partnership is a cornerstone of our leadership philosophy- two heads are better than one! We all bring unique perspectives to problem-solving!
  • Have Integrity. You will act with integrity in words and actions- do the right thing and do it right, even when it’s difficult.
  • Be Compassionate . You will embody our core values of service, inclusion, and education. It’s important that we connect with all customers and try our best to help them.
