About The Position

The Assistant Team Leader at Ollie's is responsible for leading the front-end operations of a new store in Sheboygan, WI. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, developing associates, and ensuring the store meets operational and financial goals. The Assistant Team Leader will work closely with the Store Team Leader to manage various aspects of store operations, including payroll, expenses, and staffing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree related to Business Management preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports.
• Demonstrate Ollie's customer service behaviors to provide exceptional experiences for associates and customers.
• Ensure that store standards and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Maintain the front-end, entrance, and exterior of the building properly.
• Assign daily tasks to associates and ensure productivity.
• Perform Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed.
• Assist with hiring, recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of candidates.
