About The Position

As an Assistant Store Leader at Eileen Fisher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Leader in driving all activities that contribute to achieving the store's business objectives. This position is not just about managing operations; it is about creating an exceptional service culture that resonates with our brand values. You will be expected to perform with high integrity in business strategy, people growth, and operational excellence. Your leadership will inspire your team and foster strong relationships both internally and externally, embodying the Eileen Fisher brand as an ambassador. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Store Leader to develop and implement business strategies aimed at enhancing sales and promoting sustainable growth. You will actively engage on the sales floor, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided while also training your team on product knowledge and seasonal strategies. Your ability to network and establish relationships will be crucial in promoting local events and driving community engagement. Additionally, you will co-lead the annual compensation process and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Your responsibilities will also include attracting and retaining a high-performing team, ensuring a consistent onboarding experience for new hires, and managing staffing budgets effectively. You will conduct coaching sessions to review performance and provide constructive feedback, while also participating in the annual Development Dialog process to create action plans for team members. Your commitment to self-development and growth will set an example for your team. In terms of client development, you will manage business objectives through a client strategy that focuses on retaining and attracting clients. You will promote brand awareness and capture market share through community outreach and events, ensuring that your team executes superior customer service to enhance customer loyalty. You will also be responsible for capturing meaningful customer data to personalize future client development opportunities. Operational excellence is key in this role, as you will recap store performance, report on business trends, and collaborate with various partners to enforce company policies. You will participate in loss prevention audits, manage inventory accuracy, and maintain visual merchandising standards. Embracing technology will be essential as you perform other related duties as required.
