About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager (Ops) at Talbots is responsible for fostering a culture of hospitality and exceptional customer service while leading a team to achieve sales and service metrics. Responsibilities

  • Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences.
  • Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
  • Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including Clientelling/Outreach and Appointment Setting.
  • Partner with the Manager to lead the team with ownership in all areas of operations.
  • Plan, execute and lead floor sets, window displays, and interior marketing.
  • Educate, train, and reinforce brand standards as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Balance operational and selling energy, ensuring proper planning and scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of business and competitive landscape to identify opportunities that maximize sales.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships that support a productive work environment.
