Retail and Merchandising Specialist
About The Position
Are you a master of organization with an eye for style? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail & Merchandising Specialist to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves the "behind-the-scenes" magic of retail, chatting with vendors, and making sure our Pro Shop looks fresh and inviting for our Sunrays families. If you’re a pro at keeping things running smoothly and looking beautiful, we want to meet you! Arizona Sunrays offers a variety of high-quality programs to our community and to empower individuals through fun and fitness. We provide instruction in gymnastics, dance, NinjaZone, camps and more for ages 6 months through adults. We love inspiring children to find the joy of movement and partnering with local business, schools, and neighborhood groups to bring our community closer. We are families serving families!
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- About 20 hours per month across our 3 beautiful locations
- Previous retail experience is required (if you have inventory or ops experience, that’s a huge plus!)
- Strong organization and communication skills are a must for working with our team and vendors
- Ability to stand for a few hours at a time and lift/carry at least 20 lbs

Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and tag new merchandise
- Restock and re-merchandise the floor
- Track and manage stock
- Chat with our vendors about orders, new products, and delivery timelines
- Identify our best-sellers and low-stock items
- Maintain high visual standards and cleanliness
