About The Position

The Retail and Community Engagement Manager at Selkirk Sport is responsible for managing key relationships with various organizations within the pickleball community, including facilities, clubs, leagues, tournaments, and camps. This role involves creating compelling sponsorship offers, training new staff, and ensuring compliance with sponsorship terms while maintaining a focus on improving processes and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pickleball and the Selkirk brand, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with Low-code Apps for managing process flows.
  • Understanding of Airtable, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Creative writing skills.
  • Data analysis and data gathering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review team performance and product KPI measurements bi-weekly.
  • Identify process and efficiency improvements for the team and automation opportunities.
  • Build new sponsorship offers to respond to unique requests within company policies.
  • Train new staff on sponsorship program delivery.
  • Support cross-functional operations team with Wholesale, Sales, Teams, and Customer Service managers.
  • Establish new processes and adapt to changes as the company grows.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape to maintain winning offers for sponsorship programs.
  • Review contract terms and language for multi-year sponsorship agreements.
  • Manage relationships with sponsored parties and assure compliance with sponsorship terms.
  • Produce ROI assessments of sponsorships and key relationships.
  • Project management of new initiatives requested by senior leadership.
