About The Position

Wyze is seeking a Retail Sales Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will support and expand one of our fastest-growing builder channels - driving revenue, margin, and new customer acquisition. This is a highly cross‑functional role responsible for owning the day‑to‑day business, strengthening relationships with merchant teams, and driving strategic growth across brick‑and‑mortar and ecommerce. This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts analytical operator, relationship builder, and business owner as you confidently manage merchant conversations, push back when needed, and ensure Wyze’s interests are well‑represented while building trust with the channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years' experience with account management, retail sales, category management, or a similar role (big-box or marketplace experience a plus)
  • Proven success developing and executing retail or channel strategies, including online advertising or promotional campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and comfortable using data to build reports and business case development
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization; able to manage multiple initiatives and shifting priorities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and advise internal partners
  • Ability to navigate an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and genuinely excited about Wyze’s mission and products
  • Experience with brick‑and‑mortar retailers (required) + eCommerce is (strongly preferred)
  • Strong relationship management instincts; able to read the room, adapt communication style, and build trust quickly
  • Confidence presenting to merchant leadership and comfortable pushing back with data
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in ambiguity and energized by solving problems end‑to‑end.
  • Calm, consultative, strategic, and always optimizing for long-term outcomes.
  • Highly accountable operator who can run a business with a sense of ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consumer technology, IoT, or startup/high-growth companies (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Own retail channel performance for builder / home improvement accounts, managing sales, margin, and key metrics and using data to identify risks, opportunities, and clear actions
  • Plan and execute the retail promotion calendar (events, features, digital campaigns), measure performance, and optimize future plans
  • Manage pricing and channel health by monitoring retail pricing, resolving conflicts, and addressing channel issues (e.g., unauthorized pricing, assortment gaps)
  • Drive best-in-class merchandising & content by ensuring accurate, compelling product presentation across all touchpoints and auditing listings regularly
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Ops, and Customer Support to ensure launch success, minimize friction, and elevate the customer experience
  • Execute channel-specific marketing in partnership with Marketing and Social to run campaigns that drive sales and acquisition and to apply learnings to channel expansion
  • Champion the customer and channel experience by working with Customer Service and QA to surface issues early and inform messaging, investments, and mitigation plans
  • Support strategic and ad-hoc projects that advance Wyze’s retail strategy and deepen your product and category expertise
