About The Position
The Restorative Practices Teacher at Coconino High School is responsible for supporting the implementation of school-wide Restorative Practices in collaboration with the school administration and the Restorative Practices Implementation Team. This role involves training staff practitioners, mentoring, coaching, and engaging with staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders. The teacher will facilitate Restorative Conversations, Mediations, and Community Group Conferences, promoting relationship-building practices. A strong understanding of Restorative Practices in the context of Social-Emotional Learning, Trauma-informed Care, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is essential. The position also requires data collection and presentation for school improvement purposes.
