Maine Department of Corrections (MDOC) is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual for the position of Restorative Practices Manager (PSM I). This position is key to ensuring that all adult and juvenile residents have access to a fair, equitable, and supportive environment leading to their successful reintegration into society. This position has some remote flexibility and requires statewide travel to Central Office in Augusta and to State correctional facilities in South Portland, Windham, Warren, Charleston, and occasionally to Machiasport, ME. MDOC is transforming the corrections system to better serve Maine's communities through the Maine Model of Corrections. Our approach focuses on promoting the safety of staff, residents, and clients, while eliminating barriers to meaningful rehabilitative opportunities. We embrace restorative justice practices to help justice-involved individuals gain essential skills, such as education, treatment, and job training, that empower them to become productive, contributing members of their communities. We are looking for a team-oriented, professional individual with strong integrity and ethics to join our mission of rebuilding lives. If you are passionate about making a positive impact and supporting individuals in their journey toward rehabilitation, we would love to hear from you.
