About The Position

The Restorative Nursing Assistant provides restorative nursing services that assist the resident to restore, improve or maintain bodily functions to the highest degree practicable in accordance with the resident's assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors Performs responsibilities with all identified residents including: passive/active range of motion, splint/ brace assistance, bed mobility, transfer, ambulation, dressing/grooming, eating/swallowing/dining, amputation/prosthesis care, communication, positioning, bowel and bladder continence, hygiene tasks, use of adaptive equipment (i.e., walkers, canes, slide boards, communication boards, adaptive eating utensils, use of trapeze, reachers, lift equipment, etc.) Documents objective information and care provided to the resident per facility charting guidelines, to include daily charting of services performed and weekly summary of resident progress with restorative services Documents and reports observations and other pertinent information regarding changes in resident functioning, behavior, mood, physical condition or refusal of services to Supervisor Provides input regarding plan of care based on past experience with resident and reports methods or approaches that are successful for individual residents Other tasks as assigned PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Responsibilities
