About The Position
Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA to join our Rehab Therapy Team at La Frontera Nursing & Rehabilitation in Laredo, Texas. This position is classified as PRN (as needed) and primarily focuses on providing restorative care to patients in a rehabilitation center and skilled nursing facility. As a Restorative CNA, you will work closely with the therapy team, reporting directly to the Director of Rehabilitation/Therapy. Your role will involve delivering wellness, fitness, and exercise programs tailored to the needs of our patients. You will receive comprehensive restorative training on-site, and prior restorative experience is not required, although a current CNA certification is mandatory. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the restorative care of patients, which encompasses ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion exercises, dressing and grooming assistance, and care for splints and prostheses. This position is unique in that it focuses on restorative tasks, minimizing the less desirable duties often associated with traditional CNA roles.
