Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Proven career progression in implantology
  • Ability to manage a busy schedule without compromising care
  • Sound decision-making skills, drive, and desire to succeed
  • Ability to manage and resolve escalated issues in an efficient and pragmatic way with Doctors, employees, and patients, as needed
  • Graduation from accredited dental school (DDS/DMD) required
  • Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state
  • DEA, ACLS, BLS current certifications
  • Ability to maintain professional malpractice insurance
  • Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and sitting
  • Ability to move within the office as needed for meetings, access office equipment, and escort patients to treatment areas.
  • Ability to lift to 0-40 pounds if necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • AEGD/GPR/Prosth residency preferred or advance continuing education and experience with placing and restoring full arch implants is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set the standard of care in the practice with excellence and integrity
  • Participate in a professional and cordial work environment with other providers, staff, and executives
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, scans, and labs for a thorough pre-surgical case review
  • Conduct thorough medical history review to qualify patients for surgery
  • Provide patient education, creating unique value proposition to perspective patients
  • Diagnose and treatment plan All-on-X cases
  • Coordinate care with other providers
  • Ensure proper consent forms are signed prior to delivery of care
  • Coordinate and deliver surgical and restorative care based on patient needs
  • Complete, review, and sign thorough clinical progress notes for every patient visit daily
  • Train surgical auxiliary staff as needed to support the patient and provider’s needs during treatment
  • Manage the patient’s expectations through concise explanations of procedures, post op pain, and expected long term results
  • Delivery of quality product to the standards of the organization
  • Maintain a high understanding of the practice’s lead-to-sales process
  • Utilization and continuous training of digital dentistry
  • Attend team meetings as needed
