About The Position
At FutureCare the Restorative Aide works under the supervision of a licensed nurse, implementing treatment plans recommended by a licensed physical therapist. The Restorative Aide is responsible for implementing basic restorative care programs and rehabilitative programs. Competitive Pay $17.54-25.00/hr Salary Disclosure Statement The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Requirements
- Graduate of state approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant Program certified by Maryland Registry
Responsibilities
- Provides safe restorative care of the resident
- Performs documentation on flow sheets and other applicable forms of all restorative care activities.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment by keeping work area clean and disposing of soiled, contaminated items.
- Reports malfunctioning, broken or hazardous equipment or conditions to supervisor or safety officer.
- Observes policies and procedures as demonstrated through performance of procedures and tasks.
- Provides restorative programs: Splint Program Dining Program High Steppers (ambulation) Program LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program Reach (range of motion) Program
- Observes resident’s condition and reports changes to supervisor
- Provides one-on-one training
