Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work on-call shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly (up to 100 pounds with assistance)
  • Work in varied environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights, outdoors)
  • Safely operate and work around cleaning and restoration equipment
  • Repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry materials and tools

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restoration, construction, or related experience preferred
  • IICRC certification a plus (training provided)
  • Have previous handyman, construction, or restoration experience
  • Enjoy working in teams and supporting others
  • Are motivated to learn and take on challenges

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage.
  • Perform restoration tasks such as water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and setup of specialty drying equipment.
  • Load, inventory, and maintain vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Communicate job site findings, safety concerns, and progress with supervisors.
  • Interact with customers with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
  • Ensure each job site meets SERVPRO® quality and safety standards.
