This includes drying and dehumidifying wet areas, repairing flood damage, removing mold and fire-damaged structure, etc. The Technician must be knowledgeable in construction, carpentry, and electrical systems to effectively assess and address the damage. Restoration Technician Summary A Restoration Technician is responsible for restoring a home or business to its pre-loss condition after a damage incident. This may include water extraction, structural drying, demolition, dehumidification, mold remediation, and repairs. The technician must be knowledgeable of all applicable safety standards and must possess strong customer service skills. The successful candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to lift and move heavy objects.
