About The Position

The Restoration Technician (Emergency Services) plays a crucial role in performing emergency services and contents restoration work. This position requires adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards while working in various conditions, including after-hours and weekends for emergency response.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of construction experience, specifically in water/fire damage jobs and environmental experience with hazardous waste.
• Valid and current environmental physical enabling the individual to wear a respirator.
• OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification.
• Current State Driver's license and forklift operator certification.

Nice To Haves

• IICRC Water Restoration certification is a plus.
• Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is encouraged, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform content restoration work for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct physical labor associated with cleanup activities, including packing customers' contents and general on-location cleaning.
• Assist with the inventory of site contents and setup of emergency services equipment.
• Prepare contents for storage and lift items into storage.
• Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, and site-specific safety plans during cleanup activities.
• Operate routinely used tools and equipment.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain the warehouse, stock supplies, and perform building maintenance.
• Work at high elevations using ladders and scaffolding.
• Handle hazardous waste operations and perform other duties as assigned.
