Restoration Supervisor

ServproPortland, OR
8d$20 - $25

About The Position

Are you a natural leader with a background in construction or restoration? Are you ready to step out of the "worker" role and into a management career where you actually call the shots on-site? SERVPRO of Southwest Portland is looking for a Restoration Supervisor —the tactical leader who ensures our "Here to Help®" promise isn't just a slogan, but a reality for every customer we serve. 🌟 Why This Role is Different: True Leadership: You aren't just doing the work; you’re coaching and training your own team of technicians. Project Ownership: From coordinating production to managing quality control, you own the job site from start to finish. Career Progression: We don’t want you to stay a Supervisor forever. We offer professional development designed to move you into Project Management and beyond. High-Impact Work: You are the face of the brand. You manage the customer experience, turning a disaster into a success story.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 year in restoration, cleaning, or construction.
  • The "Coach" Mentality: You enjoy helping others improve and take pride in a job well done.
  • Communication: You can talk to a homeowner in distress just as easily as you can brief a Project Manager in the office.
  • The Basics: High School Diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and the physical ability to lead from the front (lifting 50+ lbs and working in attics/crawl spaces when needed).

Nice To Haves

  • IICRC certifications are a major plus!

Responsibilities

  • Tactical Execution: Coordinate production processes, ensuring every job meets our high standards for quality and safety (OSHA).
  • Team Coaching: Communicate clear expectations to your crew, mentor newer technicians, and lead by example.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate job files that tell the story of the work we’ve done.
  • Resource Management: Keep a sharp eye on labor and materials to ensure every project stays on track and efficient.
  • Customer Advocacy: Manage the client experience directly, ensuring every customer feels heard and supported.
