Our Riverscapes and Shorelines Team is seeking an entry-level intern with a strong interest in ecological restoration engineering for a summer internship (mid-May through late August; timing is flexible). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, contribute meaningfully to project work, and grow within a collaborative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is interested in supporting projects focused on water resourcesâparticularly riverine systemsâand is excited to gain hands-on exposure across a range of project types and phases, including planning, design, and construction. This position is based in San Diego and will follow a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate is expected to work from the San Diego office approximately three days per week, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week. Limited field work is anticipated (approximately three to four site visits over the course of the internship). WRA is an employee-owned environmental consultancy.
