As we expand into the Des Moines market, we’re seeking a high-performing, customer-focused Restoration Crew Chief to join our team. At Power Dry, we foster a positive and supportive work culture. As a Restoration Crew Chief, you will lead a crew on job sites impacted by water or sewage damage. You’ll guide clients through stressful situations with empathy and professionalism while ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standard. While prior industry experience is preferred, we are willing to train individuals with the right attitude and strong work ethic. This position will also receive cross-training in mold remediation and may be assigned to mold-related projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to work overtime and some holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Des Moines area
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays- We are a 24/7/365 company
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and regionally
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage water/sewage damage restoration projects
  • Remove damaged materials and set up drying equipment on-site
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional demeanor
  • Maintain clear and positive communication with team members and customers
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Drive company vehicle to job sites, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Document all aspects of mold remediation using industry software
  • Lead and supervise assigned crew members on job sites
