Restocker | Part-Time | McCormick Place Convention Center
About The Position
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Restocker position will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment by providing support to the restaurant staff at McCormick Place Convention Center. This role pays an hourly rate of $29.01 (per CBA). Benefits as per the union agreement. This position will remain open until April 17, 2026. Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must have sufficient math ability to accurately add, subtract, divide, multiply and perform other basic business math calculations and pass basic math skills test.
- Must speak, be able to read and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisor’s and employees
- Understand written and oral direction and communicate effectively with others.
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- Ability to work closely with others
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, sense of urgency
- Must have a pleasant personality and adhere to Uniform Standards policy
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends
- Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
Responsibilities
- Pick up and transport of Hot/Cold food products from warehouse to designated restaurant locations.
- Setting tables and chairs, moving concession carts and helping stock carts with paper and food products
- Store all equipment in proper storage areas.
- Stock and Restock food shelves and coolers and ensure accuracy of items placed and labels facing forward
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
