About The Position

At Spectrum Retirement Communities, the Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the front of the house, providing professional leadership and direction to dining room personnel. This role involves hiring and training employees, under the general direction of the Director of F&B. The company values compassion, hard work, and fun, and seeks individuals who take pride in their work and can lead a team to deliver a great dining experience.

Requirements

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our residents
• Comfortable with technology
• Ability to build relationships with residents, family members and guests that we serve
• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• College or culinary training preferred, or extensive front of the house experience

Responsibilities

• Providing suggestions and implementing ideas on improving the efficiency of service
• Maintaining and managing the point of sale system
• Overseeing front of the house labor and food presentation
• Ensuring passing scores in state, local and 3rd party sanitation audits and inspections
