Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
  • Previous supervisory and F&B experience required.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
  • Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

  • College degree or some level of secondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises staff and maintains service levels.
  • Consistently demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and always identifies repeat guests.
  • Ensures staff is friendly and welcoming at all times.
  • Maintains knowledge of F&B Operation's internal functions, controls and software updates.
  • Conveys pertinent information to employees regarding policy changes.
  • Ensures efficiency and accurate performance standards are met by maintaining communication with all work areas.
  • Verifies paperwork and inventory controls.
  • Maintains professional rapport and confidentiality in communicating with other departments.
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring that employees are trained/developed in F&B Operations.
  • Monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
  • Is always available to assist F&B employees at designated outlet locations as needed.
  • Regularly monitors the inventory of all F&B supplies and orders supplies as needed.
  • Assists with Room Service as necessary.
  • Remains current on daily and weekly bus schedules.
  • Tracks banquet event orders that may affect business.
  • Understands and maintains the highest quality of food and service levels.
