About The Position

NEW MAX BURGER OF AVON - - - NEW RESTAURANT Max Hospitality is opening a new location in Avon, CT ( In the former Max a Mia location, yes Mia moved up the street and she's a beauty!) Max Burger of Avon is looking to hire for all FOH and BOH openings. Training will start at Max Burger in West Hartford while the new location is going through a facelift. Pay will range from minimum wage for hosts and support staff up to salaried positions for managers, Sous Chefs and an Executive Chef. We are seeking both full and part time applicants who have experience within the hospitality field. At least one year experience for servers, bartenders and line cooks. Requirements

Applicants need to have at least one year of experience for servers, bartenders and line cooks.
Understand and know how to handle volume
Hosts have previous customer service experience or have a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Detailed take out experience is preferred
Line Cooks have recent experience in a restaurant setting and can work multiple stations or be willing to be cross trained on multiple stations
Executive Chef will have previous volume, labor, food cost experience and be able to properly lead the team to success.
Understanding proper food laws and regulations
ServSafe Certified or willing to be within 90 days of hire
