A Restaurant Shift Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations during assigned shifts by supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment, with some supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Organize shift schedules, assign duties based on team members' roles and skills, and monitor attendance and performance to ensure efficient operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Oversee daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Assist in training new and current team members on tasks and company policies, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, balance cash drawers, and prepare deposits to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Open/Close the restaurant.
  • Proficiency in other positions within the restaurant.
