About The Position

The Restaurant Server at Hilton Atlanta Northeast is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring guest satisfaction during breakfast and lunch shifts. The role requires availability any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and involves various tasks to maintain the restaurant area and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Good understanding of the English language.
• Previous guest/customer relations experience.
• Certification in liquor, wine, and food service preferred.
• TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certification required by the first day on the job.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests.
• Serve food and beverages to patrons.
• Collect payments from customers.
• Check with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Prepare checks that itemize meal costs and sales taxes.
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items.
• Clean tables and prepare dining areas for the next shift.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee and tableware.
• Assist host or hostess with reservations and seating guests.
• Perform cleaning duties in the restaurant area.
