About The Position

Our Restaurant Servers are responsible for creating a positive guest dining experience through exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in hotel or restaurant industry
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for interacting with people
• General knowledge of restaurant etiquette and flow service in a restaurant
• Micros Symphony experience is preferred
• TIPS/ServSafe certification is required before working
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with general cash handling procedures and POS systems
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Display exceptional customer service skills and greet all guests and associates in a friendly manner
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system
• Communicate any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
• Ensure that dishes are prepared and presented correctly before serving to guest
• Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow proper cash handling procedures in compliance with company policies
• Execute room service delivery as needed
• Perform some cleaning duties to ensure dining room is clean and organized at all times
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and proprietary information
• Handle guest challenges in a friendly and courteous manner
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with fellow employees within the hotel
• Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees
• Complete mandatory in person and e-learning trainings as assigned by management
• Perform other duties as requested by management
