About The Position

DoubleTree Hotel and Suites by the Galleria is looking for people that are passionate about delivering excellent guest service. Job Description: -Welcome and seat guests in restaurant, take orders and serve in a friendly manner. -Greet guests approaching the bar and be engaging. Take food and beverage orders, mix alcoholic beverages, and serve in a hospitable manner. -Quality check food and ensure order meets guest’s expectations. -Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and perform required opening and closing side work duties. -Engage with guests and resolve concerns and complaints regarding food & beverages orders and dining experience.

Requirements

At least one (1) year of restaurant serving required
Flexible availability to work AM, mid and PM shifts, holidays and weekends
Comfortable working with computers for cashiering duties
Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
Current TABC and Food Handlers certification
Ability to stand/walk on feet for at least eight (8) hours
Able to carry at least 5-10 pounds
