About The Position
We are seeking a professional and guest-focused Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our hotel restaurant. This role ensures that guests receive attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in every interaction.
Requirements
- Previous fine dining or hospitality service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence
- Adhere to established service standards and protocols
- Ring in orders timely and correctly
- Offer suggestions for beverage and food, don’t “upsell” but be genuinely invested in their experience
- Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure their satisfaction
- If a guest has a qualm, bring it to the attention of a manager immediately and evaluate how to proceed from there
- Assist bartenders in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and other service items
- If you take the last of anything, inform a manager if it needs to be ordered, or replenish it if it is within the restaurant
- Follow proper “manners” protocol when interacting with any guest
- Strong, upbeat and positive personality
- Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail
- Passion for food, beverage and hospitality
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
